Fitness basics for women:
– Physical fitness for women depends on their diet and exercise.
– Exercise is basically divided into 3 types: cardio, strength training and flexibility exercises.
– Cardio has 4 intensities:
Low – Slow walking, regular household work.
Moderate – Brisk walking, cycling.
Vigorous – Skipping, jogging.
High vigorous – HIIT.
– Too much cardio leads to muscle loss.
– Strength training is also called as weight training.
– In gym, own body exercises like push ups, pull ups, ab workout, leg workout come under strength training.
– At home strength training can be done with resistance bands.
– Resistance bands are available in different colour codes.
– Yoga comes under flexibility exercise.
– Physical and mental fitness are not only related to men, women do deserve them.
